The concept of change

The Concept of Change
What is change? Is change important? Have you ever experienced a significant change in your life? What was it like? Do you remember how you felt during that season of your life?
Life is a tapestry of change. Everything happens through change. The world has improved due to technological, informational, environmental, and mental changes. Our lives are shaped by both the changes we create and the changes we experience. There are two key influences on change in terms of mental and societal transformation.
One: You Have to Change
The most significant factor affecting how your life unfolds is the necessity for personal change. Many people complain about problems they are facing, most of which reflect an urgent need for change. If your economy hasn't improved, you still encounter the same problems as before, it’s crucial to identify why otherwise, things will not change.
If you continue to live as your ancestors did, it’s essential to understand why they lived that way. If you don't comprehend the root of a particular problem, fixing it becomes nearly impossible. This realization is why I chose to dedicate my life to educating others about the importance of change.
Regardless of whether you recognize the need for change in your life, life will insist that you learn how to adapt. I come from Kenya, and I did not come from a family with much expectation for success. I witnessed a disparity in knowledge among my generation. Growing up, I lived in wealthy neighborhoods where I admired the cars, livestock, and vast tracts of land owned by others. It was painful to see my friends wearing nice clothes while I went to school without shoes for a month because my parents could not afford to buy me any.
The point is, whether you realize it early or late, the need for change will inevitably come knocking on your door, and it's best to be prepared for it.
If you want to change your life, there are key principles to engage with daily to achieve meaningful results. If you don’t recognize this early enough, you risk living a very bitter life. Why should you endure bitterness when solutions for your problems are available?
If you feel lost and can't tell your right from your left, don't worry; everyone has been in that position at some point. That’s where we come in—we provide insights and motivational philosophies that can transform your life forever.
Two: When You Change, Everything Changes
The concept of change is so vast that I can't cover everything here. I will provide a link to purchase my book on change to help you understand what it truly entails. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DNV3YLG8?tag=books2read02-20
When you go to school, we don’t expect a physical change in your well-being to immediately reflect the education you are receiving. However, both physical changes and the knowledge we gain are interconnected. A child enters school knowing little, but over time, they undergo various changes in terms of:
- The decisions they make
- The games they play
- The types of friends they choose
- How they communicate and what they discuss
- Their aspirations regarding careers and businesses
- Whom they marry, among other things
This same individual experiences significant mental growth under the same circumstances over time. When a toddler is learning to walk, they mimic what they observe. They may stumble and fall repeatedly until their legs are strong enough to support them, allowing them to eventually sprint faster than you. This illustrates that change occurs, regardless of our readiness for it.
When a child hurts themselves, they need comfort and encouragement. This is because they have not yet developed emotional understanding. In contrast, when a twenty-year-old experiences the same injury, we expect them to handle it without much fuss. We believe that adults have educated their emotions to cope with painful experiences better. You may see an adult shed tears, but typically not console them as much as a child.
Change is a product of capacity.
When you work on yourself and learn to understand change, life becomes more enjoyable and joyful. The goal of Jesus Christ was to enhance our capacity to understand, navigate, and live life as God intended. It was not to create a hierarchy among people but to elevate humanity through mental, spiritual, and personal transformation, enabling us to embody:
- The nature of God
- The influence of God
- The wisdom of the Divine
Regardless of your field of study, the essence of any kind of knowledge is to simplify this journey. Whether you are a scientist, a businessperson, or engaged in any other profession, the fundamental objective is to allow the wisdom of God, the beauty of nature, and the power of Jesus to manifest in our lives. That is why the word "education" derives from “educe,” which means to draw out what is within us. Knowledge, much like an airplane, can transport you from Kenya to the USA. It can achieve everything that automobiles can, even when it comes to your mind. The goal of education is not to make anyone superior to others; education and information are available to everyone. Only those who are truly hungry for knowledge and in need will find it. This is why individuals like Bill Gates, Elon Musk, and Warren Buffett exist alongside others who struggle to earn even $1 per day. The difference does not lie in location or time; it is a matter of understanding and mindset.
That's why I felt compelled to study and learn. There is little that divine intervention can do for someone who is not enlightened. When you grasp the principles that govern life, you can control your life as easily as a remote controls a gadget. By understanding the laws that produce certain outcomes, like a potter who has mastered the art of pottery, you will be able to leverage the laws of success, influence, and power to your advantage. Knowledge is available for you to absorb. If you want to change part or all of your life, it is crucial to learn this principle well.
1. Learn how to learn.
It can be extremely challenging to teach a master how to teach you, just as it would be to try to instruct God on how to assist you. You simply need to be a student to learn. One of the key life principles is learning how to learn. What do I mean by this? Stay tuned for my next post, and be prepared for a transformation in your life. I will provide links to all the books and events so that you can make the most of this information.
